Meet Fiordaliza the can-do Super-Shero! 

A year ago she was homeless, car-less, job-less and was trying to rebuild her life with her two young children. Fast forward a year … both her children are in day care, she owns her car outright, she is working full time and Fiordaliza is a student at Broward College. Her next step in this journey is to move into her own apartment.

You can help with her become self-sufficient by donating items that you may no longer need.

• One bed (single bed or full size for the mother)
• Two single beds for her two children ( 6 year-old daughter and 3-year old boy)
• Sheet sets for all 3 beds
• Kitchen items such as plates, silverware, cups, blender, microwave oven
• Bathroom items: towels, shower curtain, basket and rug
• Small couch

Meet Roxana the mom who sacrificed it all for her children! 

She was always scared. There was abuse in the family and she had nowhere to turn. There was a restraining order, a hotel room for a week, a domestic violence shelter and another temporary shelter. With therapy and our support Roxana’s search for work began and she started  to gain confidence and hope for the future.

Now, she and her boys will begin a new chapter.

But she needs to make this apartment a home. This is what the family needs:

•  One bed (single or full size for the mother)
• Sheets for the bed (depending on what size is donated)
• Small dining room table and four chairs
• Small couch
